A strong winter storm develops later this week and impacts most of the eastern US, including us in Cincinnati.
A winter storm warning is in effect for Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are possible, with up to an inch of ice in Northern Kentucky. Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills as low as minus 13 degrees are also expected.
Columbus and Cincinnati brace for weather fluctuations with rain turning to snow and potentially slick travel conditions; NWS warns of low temperatures to follow.
